We are a Brotherhood/Sisterhood of veterans fully committed to: maintaining the integrity of our Republic based on correct moral and constitutional principles – then to use these principles as a criterion of accountability for elected officials; Promoting conservatism in the tradition of the Founding Fathers; Diligently working toward the preservation of our Republic. To identify and oppose those individuals, groups and agendas that would, knowingly or otherwise, bring about the loss of our freedoms and the destruction of our Republic through, the violation of the Constitution and the erosion of the traditional founding values and morals.
They shall say of us, as James Madison said of those 56: “There never was an assembly of men [and women] charged with a great and arduous trust who were more pure in their motive, or more exclusively or anxiously devoted to the object committed to them,” than were the members of the Veterans In Defense Of Liberty.
